Cell Recycle work exclusively with the UK Police and mobile phone industry to ensure that any phones recyclers handle on behalf of clients are not stolen. As a result any donations to charities are not as a result of the sale of stolen goods. Cell Recycle can operate as a "one stop shop", provide checking services prior to the handsets going to the recycler or provide guidence and advice on choosing an authorised recycler.
